My career in law began with my undergraduate education at the University of Delaware, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice in 1999. Prior to graduation, I was exposed to the world of law as a Legal Intern with the Rockland County Office of the Public Defender in New City, New York.

Before completing my legal education at Widener University, School of Law where I graduated Cum Laude in 2003, I held two summer internships with the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office in New City, New York.

I then served as a Legal Intern on the Organized Crime Task force of the New York State Office of the Attorney General in White Plains, New York.

In 2004, I became an Assistant District Attorney for the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office, where I managed and conducted hundreds of misdemeanor cases at a time. This involved conducting legal research, drafting motions, preparing cases, conducting hearings and trials in local justice courts, investigating felony arrests, and drafting numerous search warrant applications. Throughout my two years as Assistant District Attorney, I worked with every Rockland County police agency on various misdemeanor and felony arrests and was assigned as of Supervisor of the Internship Program.

In 2006, I was promoted to Senior Assistant District Attorney of the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office where I was assigned to the Narcotics Bureau and thereafter, the Special Investigations unit. Investigations conducted included assisting the United States Attorney’s office on a joint state and federal cocaine and marijuana trafficking wiretap, five multi-agency joint state and federal narcotic investigations that resulted in the conviction and arrest of over one hundred and fifty individuals, as well as prosecuting individuals for various white collar felony crimes, including New York State income tax fraud.

On top of completing hearings and trials in County Court, I also conducted confidential eavesdropping and wiretap investigations, as well as target and witness debriefings, and over four hundred felony Grand Jury presentations.

I also was a guest lecturer at the New York Prosecutor Training Institute Summer College.

Additionally, I was appointed as supervisor of the community prosecution program of the Village of Spring Valley, overseeing other assistant district attorneys in the investigation and prosecution of all types of crimes, as well as keeping the lines of communication open between the District Attorney’s Office and community and village leaders in a joint effort to make the Village a safer place for everyone.

After almost 10 years in the Rockland County District Attorney's Office, I opened my law office with the intention of utilizing my experience as a senior prosecutor to continue to seek justice and the best result for each and every one of my clients.

In October of 2014, I was nominated and received the recognition of Rockland County 40 Under 40 "Rising Stars" -- "Recognizing dynamic individuals under the age of 40 - proving that that they are the 'ones to watch', due to their commitment and dedication to community service, Rockland's growth and their professional excellence."
